About US

With a membership of over 300 ladies, we are a vibrant and welcoming club offering playing opportunities for all abilities and ages of golfers.

Most of our competitions are played over the Troon Portland Course, with a small number of competitions held each year over the Old Course at Royal Troon. We also have access to the fantastic practice facilities on offer at Royal Troon.

Due to our fortunate climate and excellent course conditions, we can hold competitions all year-round, with our regular competition times being Friday and Saturday mornings.  In addition to medal competitions, we hold team competitions, social “balls in the air” games and 9-hole competitions throughout the year.   We regularly have over 100 ladies playing in competitions, our Summer Mixed Foursomes followed by dinner are great social events and our annual Invitation Day for members & guests is always exceptionally popular.

Since its inception, we have competed in Division One of the Greenlees League, which is the West of Scotland scratch league, most recently winning this prestigious inter-club competition in 2018 and 2023.

We look forward to the opportunity to welcome new members and to encourage ladies new to golf. We truly are a club with something to offer everyone!
